High-Efficiency Ammonia Nitrogen Stripping System for Sewage Treatment
Ammonia nitrogen stripping technology offers a mature and highly efficient solution for treating ammonia-rich wastewater. By leveraging pH adjustment and temperature control, this process effectively converts dissolved ammonia (NH₄⁺) into gaseous ammonia (NH₃) for removal. Key operational parameters include:
pH Adjustment: Wastewater pH is elevated to ≈11.5 (via变频-controlled dosing) to favor NH₃ formation.
Temperature Control: Maintained above 50°C to enhance stripping efficiency.
Two-Stage Countercurrent Design: Ensures thorough ammonia removal while minimizing chemical usage.
Raw water mixed with coagulant enters a coagulation tank equipped with an mechanical mixer. This ensures uniform reaction between coagulants and suspended solids, forming stable "rock flowers" (flocs). Unlike traditional vortex reactors, the mixer-driven design guarantees consistent performance regardless of flow fluctuations.
Floc-loaded water flows into an inclined tube sedimentation tank. The梯形斜板沉淀室 (trapezoidal inclined plate sedimentation chamber) accelerates solid-liquid separation, directing sludge to a collection hopper while clarified water proceeds to filtration.
First-Stage Stripping: pH-preadjusted wastewater (pH≈11.5) is pumped into the primary stripping tower. Post-stripping, pH drops, necessitating supplementary caustic soda dosing.
Second-Stage Stripping: Wastewater undergoes further pH elevation (back to ≈11.5) before entering the secondary tower for final ammonia removal.
Countercurrent Flow: Maximizes gas-liquid contact for optimal NH₃ extraction.
Treated water passes through multi-media filters (e.g., sand/activated carbon) for residual solids removal, followed by water stabilization (e.g., pH correction) to prevent corrosion/scaling in downstream systems.
Filters are automatically backwashed via programmed controllers or siphon-driven mechanisms when head loss exceeds thresholds, ensuring uninterrupted operation.
