MBBR Fluidized Bed Bio Media (K1/K2/K3) – For Advanced Aeration Tank, Membrane Bioreactor & Biological Wastewater Treatment

Our company's biological carrier is a premium polymeric plastic biofilm media, engineered based on scientific principles and manufactured through a proprietary process. With a specific gravity slightly less than water (0.97), it becomes neutrally buoyant once biofilm develops, allowing it to remain fluidized and evenly suspended throughout the wastewater.

The media offers an exceptionally high surface area—up to 500 m²/m³—enabling robust microbial colonization. Although microorganisms grow attached to the media, the carriers circulate freely in the water, similar to activated sludge flocs, ensuring optimal contact with wastewater constituents. Under ideal conditions, the volumetric loading capacity of the media can reach up to 35 kg COD/m³·d.

Thanks to its unique structural design, the carrier extends air retention time in water, significantly improving oxygen transfer efficiency and reducing energy consumption—resulting in direct economic benefits.
